Medieval Madness for $2500 in Harrisburg, PA on CL!!

Did anyone on here actually get this machine. Couldn't tell whether it was fake or not? Posted on Friday 9/30/2011 at 15:48 EST. Was deleted almost immediately by the author but I never got a response, shocker! Here's the details, no name was ever listed, thought maybe it was a joke but???

Selling a pinball machine called Williams. It is a Monte Python theme. My x-husband bought it when we first got married in 1997. We have recently divorced and I am moving. I think the computer went bad on this appliance because when I turn it on it just says "Time and date not set". Also I think the castle is broken because one of the towers is crooked. I have the books and receipt. I am asking $2,500 or best offer. You will need to be strong enough or bring help to carry the machine out of my house to your truck. If not sold by next week I will donate it to the good will since I have to be out of my house by Thursday. Any questions call me Beth at 579-****.

Location: Mechanicsburg it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests

An obvious scam.

The ad is made to seem to come from someone not familiar with pins,
when even the most brain-dead person could read the 6" letters
that spell Medieval Madness on the back glass. (...as opposed to the Tiny Williams logo ...)

Fake, Fake, Fake...

Move on...

;-)

I agree with your guess on what the pin actually is. I was wondering where the "seller" (if there actually is one) got monty python from. Hell, I'd buy a MP pin!

Listed in Buffalo also..

Along with a $400 Funhouse.

In both descriptions they guy said something about his wife having the machine..and he didn't care what he got with it.

Then the adds were tagged as sold a few house later.

Think they were on Albany also

There's lines in there that are references to Monty Python. Specifically the spanish guy telling you to "go away!" and few others that I've noticed but can't remember off the top of my head.

Really? Damn, now I want one even more. I'm still not paying market price for one...
