Wells 7500 series I am missing the remote board and the remote board cable, so I cannot test it.

K7500 is medium res, do not turn it on without remote pcb.

K7192 is standard res, also needs a remote pcb

The last one is a standard wells k7000.. It also looks like its got a remote.. If any are missing remotes, don't turn them on.

ok thanks local413. That what I had though. I have the remotes boards for the 2 std res. I need to go over by chad @ arcade cup's house and pick up a remote board for the WG7500.

What is the going rate for a 25" Med res. $200 working?

-Jake

$200 is a pretty good price, especially if its burn free and rebuilt. I usually sell complete k7500's rebuilt (new fly, caps, and reflow solder) for $200-225

Not rebuilt maybe $150

what happens if you turn on a 7500 with no remote board?

I just acquired a "working" (haven't tested yet as I have no compatible K7500 yoke, only K7400) K7500 that is missing the transistor for the 3-pin red connector to hook to. What is that transistor for and can this be converted to STD res?

I had this same monitor...That transistor is absolutely needed. I have that CRT here and I could test the chassis for yah :)

Can I convert is to std res? What type of transistor is it and where can I get it if I can't convert the chassis to std res?

Transistor is BDX53B I believe. I can verify tomorrow. Controls horizontal....

K7500 is Med only. U5000 had jumpers for both resolutions if I remember correctly...Its late :)
