Found a Mechanized attack on craigslist I would like to by but I don't think it will fit into my basement entrance (I have a really tight opening). The game has a red bump out in the front that supports the 2 machine guns. Does anyone know if this is removable? If I could take that part off, I could get the game in the basement.

I have asked the owner but they aren't sure and the game is an hour away so I don't want to drive there just to find out it doesn't come apart.

Thanks!

Too late to do you any good, but for others that may find this thread wondering the same thing - the answer is "yes". Although the game is massive and HEAVY, it does break down pretty easy, and it is put together well, and easy to work in. The front "bump out" is screwed to the main cabinet with 4 screws, 2 on each side wall on the inside. With these removed, you can slide this piece forward, and off of the main cabinet. This is of course assuming that you have disconnected the gun/coin door connectors inside first.

For those wanting to further lighten the load, the monitor is bolted onto rails. 4 bolts (and a couple connectors) and it slides out backwards. Another couple connectors, and you can slide the PCB drawer right out of the front. The individual pieces can now be moved much easier.

Good luck!
