I've been cleaning all my mechanical units and I noticed that there was some type of clear grease on the contacts. I cleaned all that off and cleaned all contacts and wipers. Now when I'm playing those mechs seem to be sticking or binding at certain positions.. Now I'm thinking I should re-lube the contacts but I don't know what I should use! Any suggestions?

A thin coat of Super Lube Synthetic Grease. Available at most auto parts stores.

Item # 21030 (3 oz squeeze tube) and barcode 082353210305

www.super-lube.com

The above grease is the recommended replacement for the no longer available Radio Shack 64-2326 Multi-Purpose Lube Gel mentioned in the marvin3m.com repair guides.

A good example of a Teflon lube is Chain lube (dry formula) for mountain or dirt bikes. Goes on wet, dries quickly and when it does, leaves behind only teflon lube which doesn't attract much dirt like grease does.

Thanks guys! My local Ace Hardware carries Super Lube. I'll go out and get some.
