I have a switcher in Tron with the conversion board. Some day I'll repair the power supply board, but until then this works like a champ.

Interesting. What does the motor start capacitor do? Why is it used there?
Also, if original is 3.5uf, I assume a 4uf replacement would be suitable?
5uf? There are some 4 and 5 on EBay for under $10 shipped
