I've bought several games from this ebayer over the years and have always had great dealings with him. He's not a crook or a scammer, he's just not very organized.
He has a home in Gainesville and another in Indiatlantic. He doesn't "falsify" the locations of his auctions, he is just sloppy on his listings. Look at what he has posted now, the main pages say the games are in Indiatlantic, but the item descriptions clearly say that the games are in Gainesville.
He is getting ready to rent out his home in Gainesville and is thinning out his collection. I'm heading over there tomorrow to buy some stuff from him.
That's great that you have so much faith in the seller in question. Perhaps he has a third or fourth home he hasn't told you about ? Ive been tracking the seller on eBay for at least 3 years now and I can tell you for the record the seller has used at least up to 5 different seller account names total and where two of those accounts were linked to other locations out of the state of Florida. Part of what I do is track sellers and the games they attempt to auction on eBay. His past auctions I have recorded were from not only the two locations you have already mentioned but from the states of Birmingham Alabama and Lafayette Colorado were his listings showed identical games pics and indentical seller descriptions in those auctions. I can only ascertain from that fact that it is the same seller as the one in question.
Now its possible that it may not have actually been him and someone was impersonating him or perhaps it was someone related to him using his account names ? Ive been recording many auctions daily for the last five years and im use to seeing some odd listing habits from some sellers and everything i have has been well documented. I can only go with what I see someone is auctioning from the game pics, descriptions and wordings, game markings, serial numbers, communications with buyers & sellers and by the negative feedback that was left for said individual.
Its up to everyone to make there own mind who they want to deal with but I don't think you can really know someone's complete motives on or off eBay. As we all know there are quite a few dishonest sellers. Probably as many dishonest dead beat buyers too for I have recorded many false auction sales. Maybe he's sloppy like you said but I do my homework. I have too if I want to bring accurate prices for people that want to know.
