I don't really 'frequent' the place, but when I have the kids with me and my daughter asks to stop, I usually say yes. I loved getting to go to Burger King and McD's as a kid (didn't happen that often) so I consider it a treat for my kids. We stop maybe once a month. As long as I ask for 'No Onions' they make my burgers fresh and I loves me a good fast food cheeseburger once in a while. Remember when BK and McD's were offering 25c hamburgers and 35c Cheeseburgers back in '84? How about the Jackson's Victory tour merchandise tie-in? Or the BK Monopoly game? Or when they introduced the 'Incredible Drink Machine' at BK? Those places are as much 80's icons for me as arcades and roller rinks were. The only difference is that the fast food joints are still in business. Next you'll be telling me not get popcorn at the movies.
We did sometimes. And my mom used to smoke in the car and we also rode around with no seatbelts on but I wouldn't do any of that today either. McDonalds is a plague worse than mame.
