Hey guys, I got a max force board today and found the problem I was afraid of. I bought harness adapters for the guns. Happ guns so its the small little connector. Every site, ebay, and happ and twisted quarter (where i bought the adapters) said this was for area 51, Maximum force, and site 4. On my board there is so spot for this to plug into. and the gun connectors are like a long row of pins.. I dont see this anywhere online, I cant find a manual for max force. I dont know if I will be able to make this work??

Adapter I bought :

What the board looks like (not mine, stolen pic, sorry kjoel) :

I circled where it says gun 1 and gun 2 on the board.

Am I missing a piece?? or is there a way to hack this adapter? On the board the pins are labeled. blu/blk/red/white and thats the only 4 wires on the adapter. but theres one more pin in that row and then a space (like pin missing but was never there) and then 3 more pins. so Idk if I need anything there, only the 4 are labeled

I had that manual but I think thats for the duo on the Area 51 board? I know area 51 uses this connector thats on the adapter, I thought max force did to since every site said it did

Maybe they are all referring to the duo board? I can't see your photobucket pic from this computer (the site is blocked). Is it a pair of inline 9 pin headers?

yea, inline 9, with one missing, its like I I I _ I I I I I and the last 4 are labeled with the same colors as the wires in the adapter harness.

and I just have a max force pcb, not the duo so idk if theres anything else added to that since it was 2 games?

You only need to use the four pins. The extra pins do not need to be connected.

The missing pin is used for keying (or indexing) the connector. It keeps someone from plugging it in backwards. You likely just need to plug the four wires into the appropriate positions but without a manual that is just a guess...

well if thats the case I might not have needed these adapters. lemme know what you find out at home r3ll1k and if I am missing something

If need be I will hard wire it and add a socket type plug, that way its not ruining the harness adapter in case i get area 51

ok well looking at every area 51 boardset on ebay, I am missing a piece. I havent seen one at all but the area 51 board set looks the same and the gun connectors are the same inline 9 pin. R3LL1K lemme know when you get home if you can take a pic that would be awesome thanks.

page 43 (5-3 in the manual)

shows the 4 pin gun connector, going into a 6 pin connector, then to the 9 pins on the board. (i think) But there a huge problems with that seeing as I am missing that connector and theres wires I dont have (pin 1-4 on the gun says Blk, Blue, Red, Green) I have a white instead of green. And there is another white and Brown I dont have.

In case anyone is wondering the Happ guns connect directly to the Maximum Force board without any adapters. All you have to do is plug the gun right into the 4 pins on the right on the JGUN1 and JGUN2 headers.

like so:

?? I sent you that pic yesterday lol that is the max force board and the happ gun part of the adapter, the lethal enforcers and guns are in route coming any minute.
