Matsushita TM-202G flyback toasted

flipped on my new project , Xevious to start working on it and the flyback blew. now here is the question should i rebuild it or swap a go7 i have just collecting dust. from what Ken says thet are junk and just wanted to see if anyone had luck with them. here a pic of the go7 hooked up with bobs rgb extension cables. also any ideas where to start on the pcb? 5 volts is there on the board.

Go read Leinhit's thread about a focus pot glowing, and you'll know whether you want to try replacing that flyback...

that was a hell of a thread. if that happens to me i will just call the arcade boneyard and he will come pick it up and give me a couple bucks for it :)
 
I have 2 bad matsushita monitors. I believe they are both a bad tube. One is just very dim out of a millipede, and the other is just a green haze on the tube (but works dimly with the other tube)

So I am safe to say that I have 2 working monitors when I find donor tubes from a couple tv's.

Are matsushitas a regular cr23 neck?

They are not a regular CR 23. I believe they are a CR 30 if I recall correctly.
 
got my flyback and caps and just installed them.. monitor looks good, none of that crazy focus pot glowing happened!!lol

I have 2 of those monitors that I need to reepair...where did you get your parts....bob roberts?
