My red is out.
Previously it would flicker, and upon adjusting the red pot
it would generally come back. I have now replaced the pot
to be sure that was not the issue. And the red is gone.
The monitor is in overall good shape, so I would like to fix it.

Any ideas?

My thinking would be that since the red would show up
in full force from time to time that the transistor would
be more likely. Is this thinking correct?
Anyone have a map of this chasis?

I would check the molex plug for the video signal for cold solder points, then check the neck board including tube socket for cold solder points as well. I'd be surprised if you DIDNT find any. Between those two I'll bet you'll get red back.

Thank you.

Meh...

With a Matsushita monitor I'd measure the voltages around the 3 output transistors on the neck board when feeding it a white screen signal... If they don't look too far apart from each other then suspect the tube.

Those monitors have shitty tubes.
