Has anyone had a Matsushita flyback just burst into flames looks like the side just blew out grounding it out to the chassis. Luckily enough when I turned the games on and that was the first one I walked up to just to see the fireworks. Is there something that would have caused this. I plan to replace the flyback what is the chances it took anything else with it.

The first day I brought my pole position home, the monitor didnt power on. I looked and saw a blown fuse. "Awesome! Thats easy!" I thought. I popped a new one in and you would have thought it was the 4th of July again. Scared the hell out of me.

Haha !! Yeah turning on a game that you don't know if it works or not can be scary , anything can happen .

I've got the same problem in one of my Pole II's. Changed the fuse, fired it up, and it fired up all right. I was under the impression that those flyback are no longer available....am I wrong on this? Someone let me know, please. Thanks.

Give a shout out to Chad at Arcadecup.com to see if he has any.

I think Bob has a listing for the flyback but I haven't emailed him yet Mine has a really good tube so I hate to throw it out yet
