Created an account 6 years ago and finally need to post now that I'm getting into arcades. I'm Mike out of Maryland. If you are on pinside I'm santaeatscheese on there (formerly sataneatscheese). I've got a basement arcade that I recently bumped up in size from 6 to 8 pins, and have discovered I can't maintain them all and enjoy them the way they deserve and am pairing down to 6. I've got a couple of pandora's boxes, a vertical and horizontal one and have gotten alot of enjoyment out of them. I'll have space for 3 real arcades, and have decided on a playchoice 10 (which I just got), a standing driver (seeking... preferably 1986 Outrun) and a rail shooter (Area 51/Max Force at top of list... maybe lethal enforcers). I've probably spent an hour a day over the past few years screwing around in my basement messing around with this stuff. Fixing is almost as much fun as playing.

I was also lucky as a kid to have parents literally run an amusement park so I got to play way more than most kids in the 90s in arcades.

A few pics of the basement arcade as of last month and don't worry... those multicades were (outsourced) scratch builds.

A good arcade needs variety to keep things from going stale. Enjoy the ride that is KLOV. Just be careful here. KLOV is the wild west compared to Pinside.

Love the pics! Why is NFL Blitz so small? Must be perspective.......:crazy_pilot:

Welcome to the place were your wallet shrinks just like some games!

Onward!

We may have more battles here, but its quieter here in the sense that we don't argue as deeply. It's a refined pinside if you will xD

Welcome to the group of as crazy people! Always cool to see more Maryland peeps!

Awesome lineup, fellow Marylander! When you're short on space, it's hard to beat a PC-10. I have a Neo for the same reason and highly recommend if you are capped in your # of cabs.

I saw your post on pinside where I rarely check in. "whats for sale in dc,md,va", I think? Welcome! and nice collection. I have a working outrun I might be willing to let go :) Shooters never stay long for me but I like the mirror cabinets the best (ala Lethal Enforcers) as they are a bit smaller and the mirror gives them extra depth. However, the Maximum Force style is probably easier to swap out games with. Lastly, Big Buck Hunter (pro, world, etc) always gets more play from visitors and would go well in your lineup, MHO.

Yeah... going back and forth on the rail shooter after spending some time at Crabtowne. May shift toward the Big Buck Hunter but that would be a beast to get down my hill into my basement (no steps). If I can get a STTNG pinball machine down there on my own... anythings possible. Tell me more about this outrun!
