Marvel vs capcom 3

Standing in GameStop this afternoon, they were looping a promo for this on the big-ol' TV behind the counter. Looks pretty cool. It's out, saw it in Target along with a special collector's edition.

So how exactly does this work for in home playing with friends? If I have 4 controller does each person get one character and they take control when one dies or on a tag? It looks like my copy is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I am pumped!

No it's only a 2 player game. It's like King of Fighters, you have 3 fighters on your team and you can switch out at any time.

Or is it like the last game, where your third fighter wasn't fully selectable?

Oh man, it's got C.Viper in it. I am very tempted to get this, but I'll never get anything done if I do.

I will admit that I want it, but I know I won't play it. I played most of SFIV, but never did finish some of the stuff I wanted to.

the third fighter is usable, its not mvc1. And this game is one of the best fighting games I have played. I am hooked. I have a main team that I whoop kids with all day but playing with my friends and random all is where its at. Everyone is really good in this game granted there are some way above the rest, but its well balanced for normal play (meaning im not going to tourneys)

Oh ok. I just remember I'd use the mummy guy to pop out from the side of the screen and smack people. And the funny thing was that I don't know how I did that. Good comic.

I know I'm really late, but I grabbed this last night for ps3 and hate the controller setup! Gimme the 6 button layout and I will be happy.

Yeah I brought it back at lunch. I'm not much of a fighter type person, but I can atleast enjoy the old 5-6 button arcade layouts.
