I've been going through a Mars god of war I picked up and I can't seem to get the voltage for the switched lamps and solenoids where they need to be. At this point I have every board disconnected. I had unsoldered the DC side of the Switched lamps and Solenoids bridge rectifiers. With all that done I get voltages within tolerances, however if I reconnect either ground of load wire on the DC side I get dramatic spikes in voltage around 80VDC on the solenoid side and about 40vdc on the lamps rectifier. What could be causing this? Bad solenoid? Wrong connection? Bad ground? I was going to disconnect all the solenoids to see if that made a difference. Any Ideas?
