there is one pretty cheap, non working close to me.
And I want to get a pin. This one does not feed the balls into play he said.
does this suck, or is it good?

it has early 80s speech, 2 & 3 ball multiball, widebody, a combo shot (right return, then ramp), a nice mirrored backglass... but gottlieb system 80 can be tedious to work on, they are built poorly, electronically speaking, and you really need to "upgrade" a lot of things on the boards to make them more reliable. plus, check for green corrosion on the connectors, especially the driver board, as you'll have to build a bunch of new connectors if so. OTHERWISE, it's a pretty slick game. I actually prefer it over haunted house. The four flipper config is weird but if you get used to it, it can be fun.

I like it. I bought one broken a couple of years ago and fixed it pretty easily. As far as the electronics go there are certainly known issues but thankfully the system is well documented and there are not many surprises to be found. Compared with pinballs of the same vintage I wouldn't say it's tougher to work on. They're all a pain in the ass ;)

I would expect the worst when buying something non working and price accordingly. Reproduction boards are available but they're not cheap.
