What's the trim called that is used to hold new marquees against the glass or plexi? Where can I find it?

Trim or retainer. Happ sells some stuff in 10' sections called Marquee Retainer. Its just a hard, black plastic. I dont know how cost effective it is buying from happ if you dont have an account. I have tons of if laying around so if you give me some measurements we could work out a deal.

Ive used it on a lot of machines and all of my Multi's. Usually looks nice and its easy to cut/drill.

Awesome, ill PM you about it when my school refund check comes through in a few weeks. I'm buying a new time pilot marquee, and its printed so i'll need this. Thanks in advance!

What holds the marquee (plexi)glass in your cabinet now?

Its originally printed on the plexi, but centuri marquees are notorious for flaking, and this one is damn near transparent! I plan on tinkering with it, and trying to paint it back, but it's almost a lost cause.

Sounds to me like you just need a repro marquee, are you not missing the mounting hardware?

Angle bracket is the politically correct term. Hardware stores sell them in varying lengths and styles, though they usually sell unfinished, but a cheap can of black spray paint solves that. Cut them to length with a hacksaw, no big deal. I have a few laying around if you want some, but its much cheaper and easier to just make them yourself.

So, if your new marquee is printed on flexible material (aka "attraction panel" in Atari speak) it is designed to be sandwiched in between the cab and a plain piece of plexi or glass. No additional brackets required.

If your original marquee is glass, you can scape the original art off with a razor blade, if not, you have to get a piece of plexi and cut it to size.

If it was me, I would save the original for a wall hanging, and get a plain piece of plexi for the game.
