OK, I have after a long search found an unused perfect 3 Wonders marquee. What would be my best way to get this thing scanned just in case I ever want to make another one. If this one gets scratched, I do not want to go looking for another 8 months.

Do you have a scanner? Scan it in sections at 600 dpi as a tiff if your picky. If you're really hardcore, you'll throw it in illustrator and make it vector.

You can take it to kinko's or another place with a large format scanner. They will usually scan it at 600 dpi and put it on your supplied flash drive for around 15 bux. This is something that needs to be archived. They can never be found in nice shape as you already know.

Bumping Rob's thread since it's not a specifying a certain marquee...

Any of my pals on here have an Aero Fighters marquee that they'd be willing to scan? (300dpi is fine for my purposes, multiple files/scans are fine too, as long as there's enough overlap of the two to line it up) I have searched high and lo to no avail... :(

Thanks in advance!

I have an Aero Fighters machine, ill try and remove the marquee and take it to fedex and scan it for you. If you dont mind multiple scans ill do it on my home scanner

I love you, man!!!

I don't mind multiples. And when I'm done cleaning it up, I'll share it with everyone through one of the artwork sites.

Maybe 600dpi would be more well-received? I only need 300, but I know some are sticklers for 600...

Thanks for the offer, I got a really good scan from another user. Now I just gotta Photoshop it together.

Might even vectorize it at some point, it's fairly simple.

Thanks for the offer, though, for sure! Left you some karma. ;)
