I truly understand brother I was selling my marquees at a nice price and was still getting haggle with pictures and prices. It so bad I let a few KLOV members that where pricks keep the money and refund.I made good money but I lost about $150-200 in marquees in refund I just told people to keep. What is your point? I have been collecting these over the last several years and some were more expensive than others...I wrote that to avoid people wanting to see photos then offer $20 for a Willow marquee that cost me $75. I have a few people interested and I am sending them a list and photos; they are local enough to pick them up. I don't want PMs from members asking me to sell marquees individually or ship them.
I agree, he should sell them however he wants, where ever he wants.
I was just giving a suggestion trying to help a brother out. Not price policing at all.
The more people leave because of the price police, the more it gets around not to post things for sale here.
Which just hurts the members here as the parts go somewhere else.
It's lose/lose for everyone.
maybe so. but if someone lists product at an unreasonably high price which would never sell if you left it here to rot in 100 years, then what's the point in listing it for?

Then you do what the OP is doing and you learn from the market forces and adjust your terms.
We don't know what he paid for them, what he needs for them, what he'll take for them, what they're worth to him, why he bought them, or why he's selling them.
All we need to know is what he wants for them. And then there is only three things to do for the rest of us.
1. If you like his price, buy it.
2. If your interested, make him an offer.
3. If you don't like his price, move along.
Someone out there may be willing to pay his price, but he may lose that sale because of people complaining it's too high.
That's all I'm saying.
$850/50 is $17 each. I think I paid $10 for a few of these plus shipping but most of them were a lot more than $17 plus shipping. $850 was a great deal regardless of what the Nickel-and-Dimers on here say.
i agree with everything above.. except you need to add a 4th bullet point to that...
4. If the overpriced shit doesn't sell, lower it daily by a percentage until it does sell.
(ie: $900, then $850, then $800, until it gets to maybe $250 and someone buys it 2 weeks after the initial offering.)
In my experience marquees are a hard sell all around. Unless you have some really killer titles that are in near perfect condition. Not referring to anything you have listed in this thread - just saying they are hard to move. I have at least 300 marquees and its just not worth it to even bother listing them.
HAHA i bet by tomorrow your inbox will have 20 PMs asking if you have this or that and what conditions and prices...

Lol...$250 for 50 marquees you must live in one of those areas where a working Tron still sells for $250. Must be nice!
no. but when buying in QUANTITY, you usually get a discount!$250 for 50 marquees = $5 each and that's quite generous for the condition and "lack of" rarity as a whole they are.

Hahaha. I think I'm starting to catch on to your sarcasm...your humor is a bit dry!

They didn't think they had gotten what they had paid for? Trying to understand this post.
not to speak out of place for him but, it read to me as "basically, once ppl got their items...they complained and wanted some/if not all money to be refunded as they were not happy with it...so he just said take your money back and keep the damn thing, its not even worth a dispute over $15-$20..."
I have actually done that, but in my case I had already broken back even for money spent...so at that point i didnt want the clutter back so i refunded all money except shipping costs..
Had no complaints
