The site that hosted them went away.... I'll be making up new instructions and looking for place to host them soon.

It's possible that Tom mirrored them up on ionpool...

Wow, theres alot of info on that site. I didnt see your insturctions on there, I dont think he mirrored them on there, couldn't find it

Here is the old site. It used to have a bunch of pictures for each step, but I'd imagine that with a good set of schematics you should be able to get it done. I know I printed a version with the pictures, and will see if I can dig it out:

I had one pic archived for my site, not sure if it will help much:

This kit is the best.

Jeff, thanks for the picture and the link, it helps out alot. This is just what I was looking for.

Mark, can you tell if this is correct?

>Sound board on a very big angle, its hitting the new cpu daughter card.

>does the 1 chip come out that the cpu daughter card is laying on?

Thanks John

That looks right... mine also hits (but none of the contacts short out). I assume you bent whichever test points that were in the way of the daughter card going down all the way?

You'll need to re-route the wire between the daughter cards to go on the end with the interconnect board, or it won't slide into the cage though.

Dog, question for you, on your setup just like mine, when it goes into the cage, is it tight now? I ask becasue when I slide the boards in, it seems the chips now are against the cage on the sound board and the avg board. Looks tight in there now

Well... did you put the screws back through the sound board to hold it toward the main board? It causes the board to flex slightly, but it shouldn't be rubbing the cage. I did have to slightly push on it to clear the opening of the cage, but once in the cage it wasn't touching anything.
