I have a happ switching power supply.. I want to
move the small 5v adjustment pot off the circuit board
and replace it with a panel mount pot and knob.. but the only
marking I can find on it is "202"

202 ohms? Seems like an odd size

It's a three digit code. First two digits, then the last digit is the number of zeros that follow. Value is in ohms.

So, 202 would be 2000 ohms, or 2k.

Can verify by measuring the resistance across the outside two legs.

What your adjusting is the load sensor. Typically it's a max of .5 watts. Since your adjusting the load sensor and not sending your volatge and current through the pot. The bigger the wattage is not alway the better. Your typicla 2k pannel mount pot should work fine. I would avoid audio pots not that they can't handle the wattage but it might be harder to adjust becuase a Little turn on the Pot should give you the same results no matter where the position of the pot might be.
