I have a pair of Mario Kart GP2 arcades that when running the media I/O board test there are NAND errors.

On cab 1 it's IC03-04, and on cab 2 it is IC05-96. Can anyone tell me which board these chips are on? I was told they are the Media boards, but they do not have an IC05-06 that matches the error, and indeed swapping those boards between cabinets the error does not move between cabinets.

PS. This all started because of a Wheel Error E07 error. After replacing the pot, that error went away and now we get an Wheel Error E20 a couple times a day. So it is possible that the NAND errors in the tests are not related to my actual issue.

Any help is always appreciated. You guys rock.

NAND is in white plastic case above Media Bd inside Triforce. I have never seen it cause an input or drive issue. Its usually a lock up or just plain dead if NAND is actually bad. And sometimes when they are tested they will report bad and never present any issues. I am guessing you just have a calibration issue with steering wheel causing any drive issue at this point.
