Darin e-mailed me today to say he had 13 so far. Come one guys, we need a minimum of two more and preferably 7 more (make it an even 20!).

I just sent payment so it should be up to at least 14.

My Mario bros cab has some carriage bolts thru the side of it that looks like they'll be in the way of the sideart (currently no art on it, although it looks like there once was some). Gotta figure out how to remove the bolts or do the art then re-bolt or something.

Just take the monitor out and take the 2 bolts on either side out. It's super easy and it lightens up the cab so you can lay it down on it's side to put on the sideart.
Trust me it will make it look better and make it wayyyy easier.

we have hit 15 just now. the price will increase $10 on Friday so paypal me direct if you still want to get in on this price.

the project moves forward. thanks to everyone that came through.

And then cut holes for the bolts and re-insert? Or is it possible to get rid of the bolts entirely?

NO. You need those bolts, they stabilize the monitor brackets.
Just pop them back through the side art after it's applied. It's what Nintendo did on all their cabs anyways.

Good luck.

When you take them out, use a flashlight and shine it through the holes from the inside of the cab. This will make a bright spot on the art. This will help you position the art, and control where the bolt holes end up. Before you put it in place.

Awesome! Now I have to start thinking about restoring, my Mario is buy far the most beat up cab I own. Looks like the previous owner let it fall off a truck!

Time to get to work!!

Probably not the right place to ask but I paid for a set.

Can someone tell me the proper placement of MB art? Any exact measurement would be great, thanks!

My original sideart (that was mostly trashed) was 1 13/16" down from the top of the cab & 1 3/4" in from the back of the cab on both sides of the cab, level.

That is how I will be putting this new set on.

Hope that helps.
