I am new to the forums i just picked up my first game its a converted mario bros... it seems to have a monitor issue. I am just learning about these games and there is alot of useful information on here. Just wondering where to start with this machine.
Yup..buy the deluxe cap kit for the Sanyo 20-EZ monitor and you'll have it fixed in no time. I have owned two of these games and always the monitors need capping.
Is there anyone in the chicago area that could give me a hand with this or fix it at a reasonable rate? I would like to learn to fix it myself, on hands is the best way to learn.
You can do it yourself- we have faith! Make sure to read Ian's sticky on monitors: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=143645 Check out Arcade Repair Tips on youtube and dive in. If you've never soldered before, practice on some pcb's from old electronics you have laying around. Oh yeah- read every article on Bob Roberts' site too: www.therealbobroberts.net
