Hey guys,

I'm looking at a Mario Bros game and was hoping for some input on pricing. I don't know anything about Nintendo cabs expect I like the style and want one:) The one I am looking at s stated as "works and plays excellent. Screen is clear with no burn". From the pictures it needs new side art and cpo. Its hard to gauge the rest. He is asking $400, but I am thinking $200-$250 is more reasonable. But then again, I know nothing about the value of this one. Thanks for any input. Here are a few pics he sent me.

$50,000. No less.

I kid. I kid.

$400 is fair in my opinion. Expect a nice one to hold at $500. I think you could stay under that with new stuff on it.

Obviously, if you can get $200-$250, go for it. But my off-the-cuff guess for value would be $300-$350...

Is it a widebody? Those carry their value a lot better.

if the hard to replace stuff is solid then maybe $400.

CPO and side are are reproduced. The Marquee and Bezel are not.
You can patch and paint, but most prefer to avoid it.

Make sure you love and want this machine before taking one on. They are special and great but many end up selling them off in the end when they go unplayed.

Just keep in mind the side art is like $100 and the CPO $60. Then add shipping to that and your close to $200 just for artwork. I would say try and get it for $300 after you put new art work on it at least you would be close to its top value of $500 to $600 (to break even) if you needed to sell it.

It took me a couple of months to sell mine at $400. And it was a CL buyer that a KLOVer referred to me. I had replaced the CPO, repainted the coin doors and replaced the marquee among other things.

From the looks of the one that you're interested in, I'd say $250-300 sounds about right.
