I decided to sell the extra Mario Bros pcb I bought off eBay years ago, so I go to plug it into my widebody and I discover they are not the same. This board does not say nintendo, or anything else for that matter. It has tons of tiny blue wires going from chip to chip. And when I plugged it into my widebody the video and color are inverted, and there is no audio.
I don't think my cab has the inversion board, so that would make sense, but no audio? Maybe it's just is not working, but I can't help wondering if the pinout is not the same.
Have you ever seen one of these?

If it is a bootleg, then it was probably made with the idea that people using it aren't necessarily going to be hooking it to a Nintendo/Sanyo monitor; which would explain it having normal color output (rather than inverted) and not using the Sanyo's audio amp. It probably has an onboard amp like most boards do, that you would wire directly to the speakers.

Hi, yes it is. I just replied to your email. I don't know what the deal is with this board. It does play fine in my cab, but upside down and backwards adds a whole new level of difficulty.

That was kinda what I was thinking. Now to figure out what pins to use for the speaker.

Wickedbass.
I understand completely. If I figure out the audio issue I will be relisting it with a differrent price of course.
Thanks, Jayme.

Got pics?
It's probably mario on DKjr bootleg roms on a bootleg DKJr board...

I'd be interested in this just for ROM dumping... the mario I played as a kit was a mario on DKjr bootleg on a real DKjr board, and it played a little differently than the stock boards...

I will get som pics and try to post them. I use my I phone though and don't know if I can post pics from it. I could easily email pics if you'd like though.

I believe mark is correct. From pictures it appears to be identical to a donkey kong jr board except it does not say nintendo and there are many chips piggy-backed with tiny wires running back and forth.

If you have a Flickr account you can just use the Flickr app to post them there and give us the link. You can actually post links to the photos in-line here, but it is a pain in the ass to get the right link on the iPhone since flickr pulls up the iPhone version of their web site and doesn't give you the links in the iPhone app. It does all work though. :D
