March 2017 to Present - Last Call - Possible Part Outs and/or Dumped Cabinets.

Getting ready to smash an original dedicated cabinet you don't have space for? Why not offer it up for free if you can't sell it? It might be a tad more hassle then burning or dumping, but it could be of use to another collector and might actually be restored.

Thinking of parting out a machine worth more dead than alive? Please let us know that, and ask a price in between. Parting out a game is work, and it is nice to help some one else save a game if they can.

* Don't post the for sale thread here. Create a thread if you haven't already and link to it from here.

* Most importantly, after posting in this thread, please give potential saviors one at least 2 weeks (if not longer) to propose an adoption before continuing with the part out.

* Edit your message in this thread and add a comment if the game is no longer available.

* Participation in this thread is currently mandatory. Previously it was voluntary, but highly encouraged, and now we are running a test as a mandatory thread. Mandatory just means post to it 2 weeks before you post a parting out (and selling the parts) thread.

* Even if a machine isn't working or complete, please offer it up before parting it out.

* If you see another thread about a threatened part-out, and it isn't linked here, you can post it here even if you aren't the original poster of the other thread.

* Posts should be limited to directly to the topic at hand. I'm not looking for any political statements, arcade terrorism, or civil liberty speeches. If you can't play nice in this thread, don't post in it

Free Police 911

Anyone want an unknown condition Police 911? I can't move it or fit it in my house, and the guys here are gonna scrap it. Rather have it go to a good home. We're in downtown Cleveland. Pop me a message at [email protected] if you'd like it.

Parting out Rave Racer!! in Missouri

I'm parting out my Rave Racer that I have. I'm located near Kansas City. Let me know what parts you might be interested in and I'll see what I have. Or purchase the whole thing!

Ive got a Tempest cabinet looking for a new home. Its in very nice condition other than both upper back corners are cracked or broken. I think this could be repaired without too much trouble considering the rest of the cabinet along with the side art is in really nice condition. Price is free to someone needing the cabinet for a swap or restore. Ill post some pics when i can but I believe there may be some pics on the forums that were already posted. The cabinet includes just these pieces:

Unpopulated and unmolested control panel
marquee
back door
coin door
coin bucket

I pulled the other parts for my own Tempest project. Speaking of which I just need to find a color vector monitor for this Tempest. Good luck, I know...

Id love to be able to give it way but I don't have the room to store it. As long as people continue to part out working games and even the vector monitors themselves, Tempests and Space Duels are usually the donors and will end up in the dumpster.

Hopefully some day vector monitor repros will get to the point were repro yokes are available to use in standard CRT tubes.

Damaged Track & Field cabinet (Fulton MO)

Parting out a damaged T&F cabinet. Photo is showing the better side. Other side has been smashed in on the side and a botched bondo job. The top and back bottom of the cabinet is not original lumber and neither is the odd 2 piece back door it currently has. Probably not worth saving but I'll keep it in the barn for a bit before it meets the inevitable demise.

Cab is free obviously. Arch Rivals kit is listed in the parts section. I am keeping the raised coin door. Can include a standard door for a small fee if interested. Located in Fulton MO.

Tempest Cocktail - Reno NV

I would like to keep this Tempest together since it is a working original. There seems to be zero interest in it on this side of the country, probably due to the missing glass. This is an early one. Serial number is #12, and all the numbers match.

I bought this because my wife wanted to put a cocktail upstairs. She really hates the way this one looks, so that option went away. I have no room for this in my gameroom, so it is not going to stay here. I have tried to trade it for a cabaret (and even an upright for a while), or sell it for about 4 1/2 months now with no hits.

I listed it for sale at $900, which seems reasonable considering the cost of the monitor and board. My main goal is to have a Tempest in my gameroom. I can either find a cabaret and put these parts in, or sell off all of this and buy a cabaret later.

I will let this sit here for at least the required 2 weeks, and maybe a month, but I don't have space to store this game any longer. Part of the agreement with my wife when we bought our condo was that since I have an indoor gameroom now, the garage is a game free zone. I am breaking that rule, and need to fix that.

Last call on this converted Teed Off Tempest. $150 takes it home. Includes working board set, working ARII, and a K7000 monitor. Monitor is now going into HV shutdown so consider it non-working.

If nobody picks this up by this coming Sunday (or at least arranges intent to pick it up in the future), it's hammer time. As of now, I will start entertaining offers for parts. If Davy Jones' locker is it's decided fate, I will be keeping the start buttons but the rest will be up for grabs.

Battlezone, rough and broken...

Well I was going to flip this but there's too much to fix now and I have no more interest. The cabinet is rough and will need at least a few inches chopped from the bottom (no step by the way). The game is pretty much complete otherwise. The boardset is currently in gamefixer's hands awaiting repair. Since this picture was taken I have replaced the coin door with a pretty nice Happ unit (will need to be wired up) and the right joystick is now broken. It will need a new housing and possibly a new mounting ring. The monitor is getting power. I haven't tested it for video yet but I'm willing to bet it works. I touched up all the solder joints in it. I may try to hook it up to my Asteroids in the coming days and see whether or not it's working correctly. I did hook up the ARII to my Centipede and confirmed it's good.

I'll sit on this for a few weeks in case anyone wants a good project. If no interest I'll start parting it out. With that said I'd like $300 for the complete game. This would include the boardset that's currently in Matt's hands. He can repair it at your expense. I will consider less if you don't want the monitor and/or boardset. However I don't want to remove any other parts for now in case someone wants to rescue this one. Located just west of Fulton MO.

PM me with any interest.

This Centipede cocktail has seen its day. The coin door and wooden top have been broken into. Basically has already been stripped for parts by the previous owner. Still has AC brick and other associated small hardware bits.

$75 takes the whole thing.

Giving a 2 week notice. I'm overcapacity I need these cabinets gone. On the 16th at 4:03p I'll be parting out Pacman and Gaplus uprights. They work, but have seen better days.
If you want to send me a offer on the complete games, lmk before than.
I will be trying to find a home for everything including the cabinets.

Edit: (11/17/18) Both games saved and sold complete. :)
