Ok, so I'm getting ready to burn a set of EPROMS for Marble Madness (no EPROMS on the current board) and I see in the manual the ROMS have the following part numbers:

136033-114 @ 2E
136033-113 @ 4E
136033-112 @ 6E

136033-117 @ 8D
136033-111 @ 8E
136033-116 @ 10D

136033-110 @ 10E
136033-115 @ 12D
136033-109 @ 12E
136033-108 @ 13A

136033-102 @ 13D
136033-101 @ 13E
136033-107 @ 14A

136033-104 @ 15D
136033-103 @ 15E
136033-120 @ 16A
136033-121 @ 17A

136033-106 @ 17D
136033-105 @ 17E
136033-122 @ 18A

However, the MAME ROMS are numbered completely different.

So the question is, is which MAME ROMS correspond to the ROMS in the manual?

Another oddity...

There are 40 files in MAME, but the manual only has 20 EPROMS...

Ok, more odd things...

I pulled my MM board and here is what I got from it (REV A board):

136033-107 @ 16B
136033-108 @ 16A
136033-109 @ 1B
136033-110 @ 6B
136033-111 @ 1C
136033-112 @ 6C
136033-113 @ 1D
136033-115 @ 2B
136033-116 @ 7B
136033-117 @ 2C
136033-121 @ 14D
136033-122 @ 16D
136033-201 @ 10B
136033-202 @ 10A
136033-203 @ 12B
136033-204 @ 12A

This doesn't match the Manual OR with MAME :(

I guess it's time to pull mine, read them in, then burn a new set from that.

Not to hijack the thread, but does anyone know if there's a ROM hack to bypass the slapstik protection chip?

I of course would NEVER encourage anyone to re-program say a cheap and common Road Blasters daughtercard to be a MM or perhaps an Indiana Jones, but I was just curious. :)
