I was finally successful in getting my Marble Madness working this weekend (got a Road Blasters cab for free). More info here: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=94708

I was under the impression that for MM, you need the mainboard with the LETA chip for the trackballs to work. My Leta board still has issues, but MM seems to work fine in my cab with the Roadblasters board. Can anyone else confirm?

The only other MM mother board I've used came from a Peter Packrat. It works with MM fine, but once in a great while it will display the message "software exception error". I have no clue as to what that means....

I had that error. I went through each and every ROM and compared them to the ones I had on file and 2 were different. I reburned those ones and all is good.
