Up for sale is a really nice Marble Madness. The cabinet has been completly restored. It is totally clean, perfect side art, new rollers and bearing. Original marquee, no fade. It does have some Road Blasters burn. It is not visible during game play, just on the solid colored screens. It could use a new CPO when those become available. I was going to wait for them, but decided to go ahead and put it up. Also has the Road Blasters gas pedal, no scuffs or scratches on it. $950, located in Houston, TX 77386.

That happens to be my old System 1 cabinet which I sold OU for $150 a while back. It is completely restored inside and out, though some may not like the fact that it was done with formica and not matte laminate, and Rustoleum rather than new powder coat.

You did a really good job on the Sys 1 cabinet Kspiff. I couldn't pass up the deal when you listed it. I was going to by new side art for the cabinet I had built for it and this was the same amount.

I'm not planning on getting rid of the Tempest, but if I do I'll let you know first.

It really is very nice for what it is. Only thing that is sort of ghetto on it is the new bottom piece I made for it (didn't route out the channel for the front door to set into before I installed it and it didn't turn out perfect doing it by hand with a rotary multi-tool... still, it isn't bad by any means).

I'd actually pay the $150 back to get the parts from the cabinet (minus the kit and pedal) so I could dress out a new repro melamine System 1 cab later, but the whole package doesn't hold as much interest due to the fact that if I get another System 1 I want it to be more authentic looking (and would put a Peter Pack Rat kit I still have into it, had MM for a while and didn't care for it a whole lot).

Oh well, guess I'm stuck waiting for a cheap RoadBlasters to pop up on Craigslist so I can strip it down. Want to powder coat everything next time anyways (might make a nice inaugural project for my new powder coating setup... although it will probably have to get in line behind Warlords :D).

My dream is to own a Marble Madness cabinet one day, but shipping to Finland would probably be 1,5x the cabinet's price. :-(
