Interesting. And yet I've seen the Jr Pac-Man marquee often more faded than the Mappy marquee..They are awesome..I have both of them. The oversized marquees are the best. Interesting little factoid. The Jr Pacman marquee was the only one done in glass though. The mappy marquee was plexi.
Yeah i think the inks are more delicate to everything when printed on glass. Plexi fades but seems to hold ink betterInteresting. And yet I've seen the Jr Pac-Man marquee often more faded than the Mappy marquee..
For me, it's the other way around: I've seen more Jr. Pac machines (albeit most of which I've seen are Pac-Man conversions) than Mappy games. Maybe it's a regional thing?I have to say that I have seen far more Mappys around these parts vs. Jr. Pac.
Very nice colors on that one. Usually the red is faded bad. Shame on the ghost part or that would be perfect for display. I had the rare opportunity to obtain a new old stock one still wrapped up. Its mint. Apparently ordered but never used. Gonna make custom light box for it.I still have this left over in my collection (minor fade only but alas with lifting and flaked missing part on ghost).
I had a Mappy once, but without the top marquee box (I could never understand why someone would separate/lose that. I mean, it was hinged and all).
I miss both.

I already have both dedicated Jr Pac and MappyYou should buy a Jr. Pac and put it to use.
