I've been working on my hacked up Mappy cocktail and I've run into an issue. After buying a transformer assembly out of a Super Pac cocktail, I realized that the two games mount the transformer differently… super pac mounts the long way across the suitcase, while the mappy cocktail uses the short sides of the suitcase. However, the transformer picture in the mappy manual shows that it mounts the long way. So was the mappy cocktail the only time they used the shorter mounting variation? Also, rather than a bracket, the whole bottom of the assembly is made to fit the mounting holes. Is there a way to modify the bottom to fit the shorter side or do I need to locate a different bottom?

I assume the wires aren't long enough to mount it but one way?

The main problem is the size of the cocktail and the previous screw holes. You can't turn the assembly because of the size of the transformers, but the way it sits in there currently there are 4 screw holes on each of the short sides from where it should mount I believe. It's hard to tell but in the picture I sent from Todd's video it looks like there's only 3 screws on each side.

Here is a picture of the inside I found in a post here, I know these use 2 metal brackets that raise the transformer up as there is a fan underneath the transformer base that blows air out of te cabinet, if you ave those brackets for the one you have you could probably make it work, hopefully I was reading your post correctly

I appreciate the response. I saw that picture but I'm not exactly sure what the brackets look like or if anyone would have some to buy or even take pictures of. I was definitely wondering if the transformer was raised because I found it odd that it would be flush against the fan lol. Are they separate from the assembly itself or connected to the bottom? The assembly I have looks exactly like the manual picture with just the long sides having screw holes.

It sits on top of 2 brackets, here is another picture I found it barely shows the bracket
