Manual storage: in the cab, or somewhere else?

Well since I have like 2 actual manuals for games, I keep them in the games. Because I have PDF files on the share drive that I can access from my laptop which I have handy at the game I'm working on. Having PDF files helps since I can zoom in and read those pesky values that are to small to see..

I keep mine in metal file boxes, easily found for cheap at thrift stores. I too don't have room for a file cabinet, but the boxes easily fit on existing shelves, or under pins. As I have some machines at friends houses I keep the manuals at home, comes in handy when placing parts orders, which I like to wait and combine so as to save on shipping.
