Whirlwind was the first pin I picked-up and it has definitely held up for me in the long run. Others have come and gone but Whirlwind has stayed, I just love it that much.

Anyways, I did a video review of it today and took some time to show gameplay and also show the components in the head and under the playfield.

Check it out below!

This video made me realize that I hadn't installed this table on my Virtual Solar Ride. I had played it quite a bit on my mini pinball simulator, but I just have overlooked loading it on my full-size. I installed both the future pinball and visual pinball versions. Future pinball is just beautiful, but the physics are a little wanting. The visual pinball version plays great, but since I'm not using active backglass, I don't know which cellar awards are active. The graphics aren't as nice as the future pinball version - just like most tables.

Anyway, thanks for the review and reminding me to install this great table.

I love all of your video's John !

especially your trade mark; "Hey guy's we are in the basement!" :D :D :D

That line is world famous!

Heck, even my friend Level42 copied it once in one of his video's :)

I love it also that you do some tech video's now, thanks for that !

I dont know if you have such a device as in this video, but i have seen it working live and you will be amazed how many caps that you normally replace in a capkit are still perfectly fine after all those years.

Lol! He said my tagline! Lulz! My fluke multimeter does capacitance but I rarely use it. I wonder how much more accurate an esr meter is?

;) Yeah you got me inspired :) love your videos...

Do a search on ESR meter, there are lots of threads here explaining why a capacitance setting on a DVM is practically useless and why an ESR meter is very useful.
