Let's make yet another MAME cab!!! Because there aren't 15 billion of them out there already. I guess you are going to try and get $2000+ dollars for it after you are done like everyone else as well? :D

been here since 2008....you? And it's not vintage! Tried to dump it for years. Who likes Tekken 4 anyway?

It IS vintage for many of us on this forum. We grew up playing countless Capcom classics on cabinets like yours. It should be converted back to a CPS1 or CPS2 based system for the sake of preservation. If you absolutely must make it a MAME cab, why not put in a pcb switcher with a ArPiCade that has MAME loaded on it? For the love of God, please don't shove a PC in it, or butcher the wiring or control panel.

Been here since 2008, and still clueless.

I guess you missed the massive thread completely dedicated to ol' Big Blue.

It is vintage, and should have garnered more respect. Big Blues are best known as the cabinet that not only ushered a resurgence in the arcade industry, after the big crash, but also it hosted a genre defining game that changed as well as made history for the industry and gamers everywhere.

Even if you weren't into 90's arcade games, if you call yourself an arcade enthusiast you should at least be aware of the impact and significance of this cabinet.

You messed up bro.

lol....this post is just funny! A person would think that I just slapped your sister. It's just a game with no value to me. In my book, it is not even close to a classic. I would entertain offers for a swap if someone wants to get rid of a mame cab and wants this "Hunk o Junk"! So please, somebody save this classic!

And the pos is already there......

Damn , 2008 huh..
Hmm when was the last time you have done an epic restore ?

Lets have a look at your vaps...
I see the defender and scramble.. and i am a fan of klax..

I also see you couldnt get the tekken 4 board to boot.. shoulda saved it , alot of friends of
mine would have loved to have that as a tekken 4.

Lets not kid ourselves though.. on the other hand alot of people out there would
also like a mame machine of that calibre.
It will sell ,, and god knows we/he can use the grocery money.

For the last two weeks ive had people inquiring about a ms pac i am selling.
Although the machine is full functional,, half of them have asked me if i can convert it
to a 60 in 1 before i sold it to them.
I rejected that right off the bat but was surprised at how many people out there actually
want a multicade .

I threw it up for trade. Maybe some lemming will save it, but I doubt it. But it is there if any of you guys want it....btw, I'm not looking to sell anything. I want to build a mame cab to put in my cabin. With that said, a smaller cab would do nicely. I was thinking of converting a Galaga mini cab that I have but sold it to dnj ds instead.

You could put a Pandora's Box in there without changing any of the wiring. Just get a JAMMA to CHAMMA adapter. They are like $20 from mikesarcade.com. You can get a cheap Pandora's Box from highscoresaves.com. Even the old ones have hundreds of games on them.

Steps to making a multigame:

Pop the converter onto the JAMMA harness.
Pop the Pandora's Box onto the converter.

Total, you might have $60 in it, and it' a lot easier than gutting the cab and changing the wiring.

I'm not just talking here. This is what I did with my Big Blue. I kept the original SFII:CE board, and could change it back to dedicated in a couple of minutes.

And I think we have a winner...thx Dead Cabinet.
