Hey guys not sure how many of you guys are into MAME but I am getting a MAME machine made and I have been working with the guy on custom art. I was a big fan of Darkstalkers back in the 90's and was going to use that as a central theme of the machine. I have attached pics for what I want the guy to go off of, the art has been sent to a artist to make make it an original.
the BB Hood Marquee pic, and the Warewolf would be on each side of the marquee with something along the lines of "Retro Arcade" or I was even thinking "Darkade" not sure how that sounds or not, in the Darkstalkers lettering.
The side art would be the something in the style of the collage where BB Hood is in the front with the evil shadow.
the control panel art would be similar to the collage where all the characters are lined up in a row.
I wanted to see 2 versions of the finished art. One with the original color palette with lots of reds and purples, while the second version would have it mostly black and white/smokey except for BB Hood's cape, which would be bright red to have it pop off the cab.
Give me your honest feedback on this...the photos are meant to be a guide for the artist to go from but you get the general idea of what it should look like.
