Hey guys, I have a perfect condition 25" tube, yoke, and frame from a pentranic/makvision cga/ega that I bought brand new many years ago. Chassis died after a few months of use and I no longer have it.

I'd hate to trash this nice tube, so if someone could use it, or if someone has or knows of other chassis that would work on it, please PM me. I don't want to store the tube forever. Wouldn't mind buying a working chassis and using it for something if someone has one!

@fr4nk Did you ever figure out the cause of this? Looks very similar to what my tube doing. A cap kit solved the dark bar streaks but the washed out image persists.

I found that it's usually the 350V NP caps on the neck board making the dark bands.

My notes also say, regarding ABL contrast problems, replace D21 (1N4937) but that is for a Makvision 2929.
