I have this monitor that had busted pots on the remote board. I replaced all of them and when I dial in the image it is doubled. Is this a sync issue? What should I try next?

when i have seen multiple images it was the sync on the monitor and game pcb didn't match so make sure they are both standard res or medium res.

I am pretty sure this is a tri-sync monitor and I have it hooked up to a golden tee live 2010 nighthawk box. Is there a switch somewhere to switch it from one sync to another?

if there is no switch than its either moving a connector or some tri sync monitor automatically switch.

that is the input connector but if your monitor changes with a connector it would be one of them by that width coil. post a picture of that whole pcb.

yup that is it. if you look at the two header one says 15K and the other says 25K. with the monitor off you can pull the wiring off the 15K header and place it on the 25K header and that will be medium res.

BTW: 15K is the standard res.

I switched it over to the 25k and this is what I see now. Working the remote board this is the best image I can get

I read on this website

https://na.suzohapp.com/products/monitors/49-2715-00

in the comments below that it will work in a silver strike cab but not in a golden tee live 2015. These are both nighthawk games, I will try this monitor in my silver strike.

Anyone know why it might work in a SSB but not a GTL15?

my guess and its only a guess is because you may need a high res and this monitor only outputs standard and medium res. you would need one of the tri-sync models of monitors.

OK well switching the monitor over to the silver strike I (after a ton of adjusting) got a pretty ok picture but I couldn't get all the screen on the monitor. There was always at least half an inch of some side that I couldn't adjust in. Well (dumb me) when I bought this monitor I was told it was a 27" and I never measured it or sat it next to a known 27" tube. I pulled the 27 inch monitor for the SSB and sat it on the ground next to this 2425 that I was about to install, just to see that its a 25" monitor (FU&*%$^&*%&*^). Either way back to the drawing board on finding another 27" monitor, the one in this SSB is toast and even when you try and clean and balance or rejuve it doesn't get very bright. Either way I have a great looking dual sync 25" monitor as a spare now I guess LOL
