Making t-molding hold tighter

I use hot glue when needed. It works well, and can be scraped out without too much headache.

Please for the love of all that's holy don't use freakin glue.

Just put some duct tape on the portion that fits in the slot - bam, it fits perfect.

Why? The T-molding pulls right out of hot glue if needed, and is no where near as hard to get out as wood putty. Removing it from the t-molding track takes seconds. If the track is too big you need to tape the entire length of t-molding. This is a super fast and simple fix that is not permanent.

I use hot glue when needed and go a step further- we've got one of those gel ice packs that's always in the freezer, I found that it works great to instantly set the hot glue so the molding stays flush on the cabinet edge. Just apply hot glue to the slot, press in the t-molding, and then apply pressure with the gel ice pack sliding it along the molding.

I use hot glue or put electrical tape on spine where loose areas are works great
