Making games "100% fun"

My pins have a lot of little problems that don't get enough attention. They don't make the games unplayable, but they make them "unfun". For example, the ball would bounce out of the saucer on my Space Station about 50% of the time - definitely unfun. I finally got motivated and bent the ball snubber forward just a bit, and that fixed the bounce-out. Also unfun: the ball would sometimes fall off the wire ramp leading to the left lock. I propped it up by putting a hex nut under the ramp over the left lock - fixed! I wish I could say this game was "100% fun", but I still need to rebuild the left flipper.

I'm thinking of making little cards that say "100% fun", to display prominently on the games that truly are.

Some other unfun problems I need to fix:
  • Centaur: reboots every 4-5 games
  • LOTR: loop divertor coil blows fuses
  • Black Knight: upper right target bank switches are flaky
At one point this was a much longer list. So I guess I'm making progress. But I'm not going to do any more project work until my working games are "100% fun".
