Sorry all, but I couldn't resist posting this photo of myself and my 7-year old playing side-by-side Major Havocs in my garage/arcade:

He's pretty good, too...he can get as high as level 3 all on his own now :) .

Here's a very short video of us in action :D :

The Space Duel/MH conversion is going to a new home next weekend so I wanted to capture this moment before I'm down to just the one dedicated unit ;) .

What a couple of complete show offs!

:D

Great video! Watch his face in the glass, he's so into it.

Cool pic, so who won?

And although I won't say it, I'm thinking in the back of my head "spoiled little kid, doesn't even know it..."

:)

Wow. That is awesome. Unfortunately, I will likely never own a dedicated Major Havoc.......... :(

Well, I was kind of saying the same for a long time, and along came the one I now have. So never say never... :)

Or maybe pickup one of the repro'd cabinets and make one from "scratch?" ;)

I like your garage door opener. I have one too.

People that own one know what I'm talking about. ;)

Wow...can't believe you noticed that...it's a Liftmaster that we had installed about a year ago maybe when the previous unit failed (a Genie model that was there when we bought the place), and it is nice.

Very quiet, and the unit is so much smaller than the aforementioned failed unit and mounts on the side, too.

More room for storage atop my games :) .

You are right, and I will keep my eyes open. Who knows.
The repros are definitely an interesting alternative.
Cool story though. Thanks for sharing the pic.

This is pretty cool. I have a couple, but with my son being just 5 he's yet to really get the bug to compete with me. He mostly likes to watch me. :D He does play a few, but he needs to hone them skills. :)
