This weekend I brought my (finally 100%) Major Havoc to the arcade.

Must have played 50 games myself, game was occupied all night.

anyone else enjoy this game?

In some ways it reminded me of a cross between Tempest and Adventure for the 2600.

(yeah, I'm still buzzed)

P.S. also wanna shout out to Scotty Doyle, Brian Wickedbass, Gary Vincent, Deadly (4 the tech help), and Ray for
helpin bring a working Major Havoc to Flemington NJ.

you guys rule

Great game and also very hard. I miss my SD converted MH. It sure was nice and a minty looking cabinet too. One of the ones I wish I had never sold.

Right on Richie! MH is such a sweet game. It's really like two very cool vector games in one.

...and it doesn't leave you with wicked blisters on the finger!

Nice! Major Havoc is possibly the greatest arcade game ever made... it combines 2 (actually 3) games in one, it is amazingly fun to play, it has a unique controller, it is a color vector, and it has an amazing cabinet.

But it is just too expensive. :(

And it is expensive for ALL The reasons you mentioned. Plus the fact that they didn't make too many of them. This is one of those games that simply CAN NOT be emulated, and that makes playing the original machine so much more enjoyable...

Yes very true it cant be emulated. It's a great game. You can probably find a MH cheap if you buy it broken from some fella who has no idea what the game is... just a thought. :)
