OK. So I just purchased this Major Havoc conversion from Space Duel and brought it home earlier this week. I played it before I brought it home so I know it was working. I moved it to its place in the arcade garage and it now will not play. The game does not come up and the player 2 button is blinking.

I can switch the game to test mode and the initial test comes up. From this I know the monitor is working and the sound tests are all good too and so do all the controls. There are no errors on the initial test screen. I can't, however, page forward to the other test screens yet. The issue here is that the aux coin button is not even connected so I know I have to trace back to figure out where that connects to. Anyways, if anyone has seen this type of behavior before it would be nice to know what's going on.

I hate it when I get a game and it works when I buy it and doesn't when I get it home. I was especially careful with this game. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me. lol!

Get all your buttons hooked up and run through all your test screens. You shouldn't be really hardcore troubleshooting this JUST yet.

You're absolutely right. I just printed out all the manuals and I'll look at getting that aux coin button fixed this weekend sometime so I can see more test screens. I was just venting more than anything. lol.

open up the back and detect if any connectors came loose

check the grounds and anything else that might not be hooked up correctly

original power supply or switcher ?
if it's a switcher, sometimes the +5v can drift over time and maybe your wall outlet voltage is a bit less and now it's not enough to run the game

was your air conditioner on at the time ?
how many appliances are on, on that circuit ?
