Has anyone installed a Major Havoc Roller on a Space Duel style panel ? I know there are some issues with the placement because of the wood piece underneath. I have patched up a swiss cheese Black Widow panel and I now have a blank to work with. Just trying to figure where to make the cutout for the controller. I have repro side art from Phoenix Arcade and I don't think there will be enough clearance placing it below the < move >
Thanks !

I think you need to change the crystals as the spinner version spins faster than the roller version.

I have tested my roller and it spins at the correct speed. I purchased my MH pcb along with a Tempest Conversion panel and the spinner on this panel also worked correctly. I tested with the spinner on my Tempest machine and that one moved very slow or not at all. I believe the difference is the resistor on the spinner pcb.

its not that it will not work. I think that they changed the crystals to balance the game for the different controls.

I did it. SD with a RAM Controls rolligig. I have Brent's old CP where he used a dedicated MH CPO to line up the controls.

Yes, I had to carve some wood out to make it work. Carving was just right on the edge though, not much at all.

Here is a photo. I plan to make a new panel with the Phoenixarcade CPO sometime, but this is nice enough for now.
