SOLD - GAME Major Havoc (Space Duel conversion) - 100% working

I don't see any PCB being worth $1500.
The game isn't even that rare, dudes are just hording parts and selling them like they're Bitcoin stock.

The game is so overhyped too.

The whole project it worth $1500-1800 tops, unless someone is a complete imbecile with no patience.

I picked up a dedicated MH for $400 not long ago and of course dumped it to an idiot for insane profit, but seriously, it's not that good of a game.

You must drink the Koolaid! As long as people are interested in the game, Havoc is a $4K+ dedicated game even considering market fluctuations. Individual perceptions of how good the game plays are irrelevant. Individual lucky acquisitions are irrelevant. I happen to love it myself, but that's irrelevant too.

They're not going to become less rare and the cab style, amplifone, color vector components of it add to it's collectability and therefore the price. I am surprised by the recent level of price increases on all games over the last couple years. Most dedicated Havocs will sell for $6K+ these days. I think everything is due for a correction or at least a slow down, but Who really knows. This game is priced fairly given recent transactions.

I do like Kool aid.
There are more of them floating around than there is demand, just because people horde parts and try to sell them for stupid money money doesn't make them actually valuable.
It's a boring game with a LOT of hype.
I stand by what I said, no pcb is worth $1500, I don't think the whole game is.
Amps, aren't even rare, if they were I wouldn't have a dozen of them laying around.
It blows my mind how stupid people are with their money.

Agreed! he is talking about others hording parts but he has a dozen 6100's just laying around, WOW

I only have five 6100's, I've got a dozen Amplifones.

That said, if one of my buddies needs one I'll most likely give it to them or trade for something. Membership has its perks. Shouldn't have come out of the gate as a douche and I might have hooked you up down the line.
Dude, I've got literally 100's of games, having a few backup monitors makes sense.
I burned a couple of Atari cabs and salvaged the monitors, it's easy to accumulate spare parts.

I love the drinking Kool Aid comments, you idiots jump on whatever grail bandwagon pops up and suddenly shit games are gold. Major Hype was converted into every other title because it's a boring game that didn't earn on location. 30 years doesn't make it a better game.
And Jesus, the OP is selling an incomplete conversion for $3k!!!
Without a marquee hahahaha
Additionally, there a how many repro boards floating around now...? It's not a rare game by any stretch, it's just been inflated in value by dumb asses with no patience or networking ability.

Enjoy the vacation.

OP, feel free to create a new fresh thread if you'd like. Carry on.

Thank you Drewster...

Appreciate the offer Drewster. No need to create a new thread for now. My rep, my games and my history as far back as RGVAC speaks for itself. If it doesn't sell, I will just finish it and then sell. No big deal.

Everyone knows I am always reasonable and negotiable with my for sale stuff.

That guy is notorious for pissing on people's FS threads he did it to mine and was temporarily banned. Banned again. How many times does it take until it's permanent?

still available

Finally got some questions on this but it's still available. You guys know it's "asking $3k" right? Price is negotiable...

In about a week if not sold I will pick up the marquee, paint the coin door and post to ebay...

Updates & Still available

Got a Marquee and painted the coin door. Game is still available asking $3000 - again note the "asking". Will accept a reasonable offer. Last weekend before this hits ebay.
