Major Havoc repro PCB build thread - Post your progress!

Finally got motivated to build this puppy up. Still waiting on an 82S129 and a pair of LF13201's, but I figured I was good to try a smoke test with 5 vdc.

This was a really fun build!

It's going to go into a Tempest cab.

Serious question: without the quad JFETs and the BiPROM, what would I expect to see on the scope?

SERIOUS ANSWER: nuthin' (miraculous). Data, perhaps, but no vectors.
Populate it all, make sure you have 10.3V for the POR to activate and probe X/Y OUT.

Planning on adding the SPEECH circuitry later?

Cool, I'll definitely jump on that.

As for the speech circuit, absolutely. I'm trying to minimize my potential points of failure, so I plan to get the game running without it at first.
