***SOLD***

I recently got a new PCB for Major Havoc, so I'm selling my old one.

The PCB works, however, there are a couple of issues:

Issue #1: The pokey needs to be replaced, as some of the sounds are off. I swapped in the pokey from my other Major Havoc board and confirmed that's the problem with the sounds on this one.

Issue #2: The graphics and controls are jumpy, and some of the vector lines are messed up. Not sure what the problem is with this one.

So this board is playable (I played MH this way for a long time before replacing it and was able to make it pretty far in the game), but the graphics and sounds are wonky.

If you've got repair skills, this could be a good one to fix and flip for more money, or get your Major Havoc working on the cheap.

$150 shipped anywhere in the US. If you buy today, I could have this in the mail by tomorrow morning.

PM, if interested.

He shoots, he scores!

Considering what the last rock fiend was asking for his broken one, it's refreshing to see someone actually price appropriately.

~$250 working = $400 broken!?! This porridge tastes funny

~$250 working = $150 broken. This porridge is just right :D

~250 for a working MH? Someone is smoking their porridge again! ;-)

yeah even here they go for $400 all day.
Ebay may get you a bit more, but the fees will just bring it back down again.

I am not certain it's worth $400. but I wouldn't sell my board for $400

Although my porridge smokes really well, I'm just going off the last two "reasonable" sales I've seen. $260, and $235 respectively. And while you will find that range widens from $200-500 asked here, you do have to bear in mind the actual sale price is often very different than the asking price - as in the $400 example from earlier, it certainly didn't fetch that, considering today's seller is likely that buyer ;)

Major Havoc is an awesome game, and a desirable board. But let's all remember that it ain't no Quantum - they made ALOT more conversion MH PCBs. It was never a $500+ PCB, and it never will be - hence why we're not jumping to repro the board and spend $500 doing it - you can just buy an original for alot less.
