The Atari manuals all say to make adjustments to the WG6100 and install a fan prior to installing the MH & adaptor PCB's. Is this just a standard Low Voltage upgrade? Will a MH PCB work without any changes made to a WG6100 if you had the correct wiring harness (Tempest or SD)?
I'm not fortunate enough to own a MH PCB at the moment but I want to know if this is something I can pull off technically if I can ever find one.
I know that upgrading the WG6100 is something that should be done, I just need to know if it HAS to be done for it to work at all.
If I am lucky enough to find a MH PCB but can't find the harness adaptor, can I build my own or modify a Tempest/SD wiring harness and get away with it? Are all the voltages to the PCB the same as Tempest/SD?
Thanks!
