Major Havoc help

So I downloaded the Tempest to major Havoc Conversion instructions.
It looks as though you have to modify the 6100 to work with a Major Havoc pcb?

Anyone have any knowledge on this subject?

Does anyone know of anyone who works on Major Havoc pcbs?

Thanx

Yes i believe road.runner does, send him a PM message. I have bought a Battlezone and Asteroid Deluxe PCB's off of him after he repaired them. They work excellent and he is a GREAT guy!

Good luck,

Braido...

Dick Millikan could fix it for you.
I do seriously wonder if you have a compound issue going on there?
What's the voltage off the ARII board reading?
Have you replaced big blue?
Do you have another AVG chip laying around to try? The randomness of lines is what makes me think the AVG.

I have not tried any of the WG6100 mods yet, The constant resetting in test mode leads me to believe that my issue is not just in the monitor.

where is this AVG chip? I have quite a few Battlezone, Asteroids, Space Duel, Tempest parts boards I could rob if need be. thanks in advance

AVG chip location on Havoc - no clue.
AVG IC # 137179-001 <--locate that chip on Space duel and swap it with the one on Havoc.

grab a replacement from arcadeshop 35 bucks I think
