I just rebuilt my 6100 with one of Bobs kits, and am putting my MH in my Tempest. The board plays fine I just cant get the picture adjusted worth a crap. My picture is to big x and y with the pots maxed out on both the main board and the conversion board. Also it has a pincushion problem. I thought the conversion board took care of all that so you don't have to mod the 6100. My other question is I am trying to set the HV pot. I don't have a HV meter so I tried what the manual suggested, but I am only measuring 59vdc no matter where the pot is. I am measuring at pin 5 on p900. Any help would be great.

Hmmmm... something's definitely up. I converted my Tempest to Major Havoc this past weekend, and it was basically plug-and-play with the conversion board. I have a very small amount of vertical "squish" at the bottom of the screen, but it's barely noticeable. I haven't messed with it yet because it doesn't really bother me. No pincushion issues or problems with the picture being too big.

I'm not sure if this helps, but check out this thread:

This guy had a pincushion issue and it wound up being tied to the Major Havoc board itself.

I wish I knew more about this stuff so I could help you out. Major Havoc is such an awesome game.

Good luck!

Thanks for the reply I did find that post too. I just checked my boards jumpers and I think they are right, but are there supposed to be cut traces on the otherside? What did your board look like? Here are some pics of mine. Thanks again.
