I'm in the middle of cleaning up some data issues with the main database, and at the moment I'm dealing with 'Sound'.

Everything happens with codes, ie:
AE Amplified Either (Mono or Stereo)
AM Amplified Mono (one channel)
AS Amplified Stereo (two channel)
ASB Amplified Stereo with Subwoofer (three channel)
DCS Midway Digital Compression System (DCS) - Amplified Mono
NA No Audio
Q Capcom Q-Sound - Amplified Stereo
S Special Sound System
UM Unamplified Mono (requires one-channel amp)
US Unamplified Stereo (requires two-channel amp)

The list could likely use some modernization, but that's beyond today's topic. We have three codes that are in use the database but not in use. As a result, the data is basically ignored.

A3: on 32 games including Amatelass, Densha De Go, Final Lap R, Final Lap UR, Flying Hawk, Ford Racing, Gunmen Wars, Heavy Smash, Sport Fishing 2, and Tankers. There is a 25 year gap between some of these games...

ASC: Keisatsukan Shinjuku 24j, and Keisatsukan Shinjuku 24j 2.

BSS: Daytona USA2, Samurai Jack, Sega Rally 2 Championship

Does any one have any ideas what these codes are supposed to me to anyone?
